Deploy the Archiver and API services, configure the hot-rolling simulator, create its example Unified Namespace hierarchy, and explore generated furnace measurements from the Controller.

What you will see

  1. Deploy the data services

    Install UNS Archiver for QuestDB persistence and UNS API Global for authenticated current-value and historical queries.

  2. Configure the simulator

    Load the development configuration for rtt-demo-app, a fictional hot-rolling mill simulator.

  3. Create the example hierarchy

    Use the simulator configuration to create the equipment and signal structure in the Unified Namespace.

  4. Start and inspect the application

    Run the simulator and inspect its service output from the Controller.

  5. Explore generated measurements

    Open furnace temperature signals and inspect their values, timestamps, and charted history.
