Schema guide updated for the Runtime preview

The Schema guide now makes the normal path explicit: choose a profile or Blank, inspect a proposed change, and keep tenant customizations and observed metadata under administrator review.

This documentation update covers the Schema workflow available in the private Runtime preview. It keeps ownership, review, and recovery explicit instead of allowing discovered metadata to change managed vocabulary silently.

What the guide covers

  • Choosing an available solution profile or Blank as the starting point.
  • Reviewing profile changes before apply, including their package and definition impact.
  • Tenant-owned definitions and overlays that remain separate from reusable packages.
  • Field-level review and explicit adoption of versioned Schema contracts published by services.
  • Observation-only MQTT metadata with deliberate administrator promotion of compatible reusable definitions.
  • Recovery and rollback boundaries that require reviewed, exact historical evidence.

What does not change

Service contracts and MQTT observations do not silently mutate managed Schema. Profile changes and tenant customizations are reviewed before apply, while live publisher topics, assets, payloads, and values remain owned by their publishers.
